I have joined Actors and Writers, London (AWL) www.actorsandwriters.london. I'm enjoying watching short and full length productions of plays written, directed and performed by the members. I'm looking forward to seeing my own work performed in the near future.

I have now been teaching for Open Age for ten years. I continue to teach writing courses and this academic year have written and taught causes on poetry. We do some writing, both poems and criticism, but mostly we read, backing it up with lively debates and lots of fun. Even people who started by telling me they don't like poetry later admit to enjoying this course.

Into the Dark Zone A one hour, humorous play, written for the Dalgarno Trust, addressing the dangers of too much on-line gaming and talking to strangers at the school gates.

Ali and the 5 Thieves was a one hour pantomime performed by the wonderful people at the Dalgarno Trust.
1st and 2nd of August 2012
Something's Going Down in Dalgarno went down well with the Dalgarno Trust. What's more they must have liked the script as I'm told there's a rumour that I may be asked to do another.

I've been asked to script a short play for the Dalgarno Trust Intergenerational Summer Play. It's called Something's Going Down in Dalgarno and has a talking cat, community issues and a bunch of children dressed up as rats. Fun!
1st July 2011
I left my teaching post at the Bosco Centre after being there for two years. This will leave more time to develop Wake as well as freeing up time to write my next script.
